If you can't bear to listen to the Roberts confirmation hearings . . .

. . . Prof. Althouse is TiVo-blogging them for you.  I listened to about 10 minutes this morning before it became too much for me.  The opening "statements" by the Senators are just too pedantically boring to endure.  Hopefully, the Q-and-A session will be more tolerable, although my guess is that Roberts will duck and dodge effectively whatever is thrown at him.  And I really doubt we'll get any spectacle along the lines of the Clarence Thomas hearings.
