Federalist No. 84

Waldenbooks? Borders? I'm not sure what those are. I think that in the 20th century, people went there to buy books, but I could be mistaken. :)

I buy almost all of my books from Amazon or Ebay, since finding a desired book at even the big box bookstores is a crap shoot. About the only bookstores I go to are those weird liberal ones, where they have signs like "Bush is Hitler" on the wall and where you can actually find a copy of One Dimensional Man.

It wouldn't surprise me if quasi-bookstores like Waldenbooks don't get new releases out right away. Go to a Borders or B&N.

I bought it yesterday, read ten pages, and probably won't pick it up again for a few days. It looks like a whole lot of Daniel Waterhouse for a very long time. Yawn.

Well Professor, here's a 10% off coupon for Borders if you want to use it:

Thanks for the suggestions. However, if you haven't found out already, Lost in Iowa, the nearest Borders is in Davenport, and I don't feel up to driving two hours roundtrip to go there. There is a B&N in town by the mall, but because I'm a cheap professor instead of rich lawyer, I'll avoid the sales tax by ordering from amazon.com. Anyway, I'm not in a rush to get it, since when I went to Waldenbooks looking for it, I ended up picking up a fast food equivalent (i.e., action-adventure novel) that should tide me over until amazon.com delivers.
