Good news for me!

I'm delighted to report that the tenured Iowa law faculty voted to recommend that I be given tenure and promoted to full professor!

There are, of course, a couple of more layers of review -- first, the Provost; and then the Board of Regents -- but it's a nice feeling to have reached this stage and to have the confidence and support of my senior colleagues.

Congratulations!

Congratulations, Professor Yin. Don't forget the confidence and respect of your (former) students as well! You are truly deserving.

Congrats!!

Congrats. Will we see some more unrestrained blogging?

Congratulations! You deserve it, you are (were for a former student) a great professor.

Congratulations. UI has chosen... wisely.

Thanks to all for the congratulations, and as for "more unrestrained blogging," you think I'm restrained?!?

Congratulations!

祝贺你!That is, congratulations (from my current location in China)!!! Of course, for those of us who track your work closely, this comes as no surprise. On behalf of all your former research assistants, it's about damn time!

Congrats from another former RA!
